Several of us in the Zoom production community have been talking about forming an alliance with each other for over a year now. In late 2023, several of us have attempted to reach out to Zoom management to discuss how we can approach this effort together.

Zoom is a big organization that is swift and agile when it comes to product development, but management decisions seem to come a lot more slowly. I decided that I’d start out on my own here in January 2024 and begin to build this Zoom-Skilled Producer Affiliate Network. Thank you for visiting!

My goals are few:

• To build a network of affiliates by reaching out to established producers and vetting them to ensure that our members have the experience and skills we expect.
• To provide opportunities for Z-SPAN members to network with each other, share experiences, and spread our knowledge.
• To provide potential clients with a vetted, known group of producers willing to listen to the client’s needs and provide Zoom-related services at a reasonable price.
• To serve as a referral source to Zoom Account Managers, where their customers perhaps can’t afford Zoom’s Professional Services support. In this way, we are supporting Zoom by facilitating the sale of Zoom products to our clients, some of whom might ultimately grow to become a Professional Services client in the future.
